The Florida Gators will face the Georgia Bulldogs at Everbank Field in Jacksonville, Florida in a game that will be televised on CBS this Saturday. The 22nd-ranked Bulldogs will look to avenge their overtime loss to the Gators last year and put an end to a three-game losing streak in this series. Meanwhile, the Gators will be struggling to overcome a three-game losing streak on the season. They lost to the then-No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide 38-10, lost to No. 1 LSU 41-11 and then lost to the then-No. 24 Auburn Tigers 17-6. Injuries have derailed this team, as starting quarterback John Brantley and tailback Jeff Demps are both possibly out again this week. He had been playing well before his injury, completing 64. 7 percent of his attempts for 942 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions. Demps is questionable after an ankle injury against LSU, but he may also return this week. Florida ranks just 88th in total offense with 353. 7 yards per game. They are 40th in rushing with 175. 7 yards per game and a lowly 94th in passing with 178 yards per game. Their defense has been keeping them afloat, though, ranking 11th in total defense, allowing 289. 1 yards per game. Running back Chris Rainey has been the Gators’ best offensive weapon. He has 500 rushing yards with two touchdowns, plus team highs in receptions with 18, receiving yards with 275 and receiving touchdowns with two.
